Koh Samui Rentals

According to a report released by C9 Hotelworks, passenger arrivals to Samui Airport for the full year of 2012 clocked in at over 914,300, representing an eight percent growth compounded annually between 2004 and 2012.

The upswing in arrivals has seen accommodation occupancy, particularly in the holiday home rental market, benefit with ever-increasingly sophisticated travellers looking to make the most of their holiday.

Most luxury villas on the charming island feature spacious interiors, stylish décor and a range of facilities that guests would expect to find at any high end resort. However, villas start to differ when it comes to location, number of on-site staff, extra facilities such as an on-site spa or private cinema room. A handful of island-based agencies, such as Luxury Villas and Homes, are able to assist holiday makers in selecting the perfect villa to suit their needs.

If travelling as part of a large party, a Koh Samui villa rental is often a more convenient, not to mention economic and pleasurable option, than booking out several hotel rooms at a crowded resort. Villas on Samui range from quaint one-bedroom bungalows furnished in the traditional Thai style, to eight bedroom mansions complete with swimming pool, Jacuzzi and floodlit tennis court. Whether you are travelling for pleasure, throwing a wedding or birthday celebration or organising a corporate event, chances are, there is a villa on Koh Samui that perfectly fits the bill.

Villas also provide an extra degree of privacy that often cannot be found in large hotels that are often completely booked out during the island's high season. Instead of fighting for a sun lounger on the edge of an overcrowded pool in a bustling resort, villa guests can make their way to the villa's private pool at any time they like and be greeted by both space and tranquillity. A broad selection of private villas are peppered across the island, making it easy for guests to select a villa in a location that suits them whether they prefer to be at the heart of bustling Chaweng beach or hidden within tropical rainforests on the side of a verdant mountain.

Some of the larger Koh Samui villa rentals also feature mini movie theatres, which are the perfect place for guests to kick back and relax with a bottle of wine after a long day of sight-seeing and water sports. Many villas even have their own in-house team of staff to make sure guests can make the most of their relaxation time without having to lift a finger, even to make that refreshing Mai Tai cocktail as the sun goes down, or a private chef to put on a celebratory feast for a special occasion. Some villas also come with their own housekeeping staff and personal concierge, who is there to help guests organise everything from a taxi to town, to making sure the fridge is fully stocked upon arrival.
